Trading Tool - Pivot Point Calculator

There are variations of pivot points calculation for forex/currency, equities and derivatives trading. The most common used is the 5 point system that consists of Pivot Point, Support 1, Resistance 1, Support 2 and Resistance 2. Some traders also go a step further to use Support 3 and Resistance 3.

Resistance3 = Resistance1 + (High - Low) = High + (2 x (Pivot - Low))
Resistance2 = Pivot + (High - Low) = Pivot + (Resistance1 - Support1)
Resistance1 = (Pivot x 2) - Low
Pivot = (High + Low + Close) / 3
Support1 = (Pivot x 2) - High
Support2 = Pivot - (High - Low) = Pivot - (Resistance1 - Support1)
Support3 = Support1 - (High - Low) = Low - (2 x (High - Pivot))
