S&P, Nasdaq rise 2 pct in late surge (Reuters)

U.S. stocks rebounded on Wednesday, with the S&P and Nasdaq rising more than 2 percent, led by technology companies as investors snapped up beaten down shares, while the energy sector benefited from a surge in oil prices.
